Radius searches around Neukölln often pull in Kreuzberg and canal-side places; that is useful for real-life planning, but the page should clearly distinguish “Neukölln proper” from “nearby and useful.”

Neukölln’s restaurant landscape is not one thing. It is Sonnenallee’s Arab and Turkish everyday food, Reuterkiez wine bars and modern casual rooms, Schillerkiez brunch and dinner routes, and the quieter southern stretches where practical neighborhood food matters more than hype.

The current list has enough strong leads to publish around, especially Barra, 21 Gramm, NUR Gemüse-Kebap, Alaska Bar, Meraklı Köfteci, and Knödelwirtschaft. It still needs active editorial filtering because some high-rated results sit across the border in Kreuzberg. Those should become “nearby fallback” notes, not core Neukölln picks. Around the Karl-Marx-Straße/Reuterkiez edge, Babbo Bar, TISK, Le Brot, Wilke, Kindl Stuben, Tabibito, Prachtwerk, Paolo Pinkel, and Broschek describe central Neukölln better than some border spillovers.

• Brunch and daytime: Two Planets and 21 Gramm explain the Schillerkiez side of the district.
• Editorial gap: more late-night and south-Neukölln coverage is needed.
